CREAT•I’VE

I’ve created a company to help organizations excavate, craft and share stories that spark conversations, engage desired audiences, build relationships and shape brands.

Spark conversations through the stories you share.

  • Stories create awareness, pique interest and inspire action.

  • Position you and your organization as the provider of choice in your industry and community.

Engage with the audience you desire to serve through conversations.

  • The best conversations begin by listening.

  • Knowing where you are in your desired audience's mind is the first step in crafting stories that speak their language, answer questions, let them know you care and are best equipped to meet their needs.

Build relationships with your desired audience, employees, volunteers and community.

  • People do business with, want to work for and support organizations that share their values.

  • Bonding over the passion for a cause is a powerful connecting point.

Shape the perception of your brand through the stories you share.

  • Everyone markets you. Everyone who talks about you writes a page in the story of your brand.

  • We are hardwired to respond to, resonate with, remember and repeat stories.

I’ve published a collection of poems as a reminder that everyone has a story someone in the world needs to hear for insight, inspiration or to know they’re not alone.

Poetic Justice: Lessons of love, life & relationships is a compilation of poetry that symbolizes a full circle in my storytelling career. As the owner of a Public Relations firm, I tell other people’s stories for a living. This book is part of mine. I started writing poems at 12 years of age.

These pages hold a lifetime of lessons learned about love, life and relationships. Poetic Justice is not a typical book designed for reading from beginning to end but as individual pages that beckon your soul at a particular moment in time.

Chapters are organized by topic, not chronologically. Like a diary entry, each poem represents my innermost insights and feelings during a moment in time. Each entry is anonymous because lessons live on unlike some relationships.

I didn’t write these poems, they wrote me. When I was overwhelmed with emotions and didn’t think anyone could hear me or understand, the words poured through me onto the pages . . . sometimes between the blinding tears of heartbreak and betrayal, sometimes fueled by liquid courage on bar napkins, sometimes in the depths of depression and sometimes by the light of love.

I’ve shared how to build a brand with the on-demand online class, Branding Your Story.

In business today, we connect with, attract and retain customers, employees, volunteers and donors through stories. These stories are the blueprint for building a foundation of trust that helps shape your brand. Stories that describe how you wove your passion, vision and values into your organization are what people respond to, resonate with, remember and share.
